EUROMAR

EUROMAR is the premier Magnetic Resonance conference in Europe.

The EUROMAR conference is held in various locations within mainland Europe and Eastern Europe with the mission to become a focal point for magnetic resonance activities. EUROMAR has evolved by the merging of three very successful nuclear magnetic resonance meetings the European Experimental NMR Conference (EENC), the Ampéré Congress and the UK NMR Discussion Group (NMR DG) meeting.

In 2005, all parties agreed to join together forming an annual conference, EUROpean MAgnetic Resonance, that covers every aspects of magnetic resonance. The first joint conference of the three scientific bodies was held under the name EUROMAR that took place in the Netherlands. EUROMAR covers all aspects of magnetic resonance, including nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), electron spin resonance (ESR), electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and other related spectroscopies.

Since then EUROMAR conference became an annual focal point for magnetic resonance activities and gathering of Nobel Laureates, world renowned scientists, junior scientists, academics, industrial partners, commercial vendors, publishers, postdoctoral fellows and postgraduate students.

Groupement AMPERE

Groupement AMPERE (Atomes et Molécules Par Études Radio-Électriques; Atoms and Molecules by Radio-Electric Studies) is a European association of scientists active in the various fields of magnetic resonances, optics, dielectrics, imaging, as well as in the development of other related methodologies and technologies.
The Groupement AMPERE was established in 1952 in France with the precise purpose of informing, coordinating different European Laboratories and also, helping the scientists in difficult economic conditions or political situations.
The Groupement AMPERE has long term projects for activities which will continue its own tradition. In addition it plays a crucial role for developing new scientific ideas which are progressively emerging from the scientific evolutions in these fields.
